Twilight is a novel work by American writer Stephenie Meyer. This novel is the first novel in the Twilight series. This novel consists of 24 sub chapters namely, first sight, open book, phenomenon, invitation, blood type, scary story, nightmare, angeles port, theory, interrogation, complication, balance, confession, thoughts on matter, cullens, Carlisle, games , hunting, goodbye, impatience, phone calls, hide and seek, angels, deadlock. Then in this novel there is an epilogue section entitled an opportunity. This novel tells a woman named Isabella Swan. Bella is still 17 years old. He lives with his mother in Phoenix, United States. Her mother is called Renee. Since childhood, Bella's family has broken home. The household is divorce and custody Bella falls into the hands of her mother.

His mother decided to remarry. He married a man who was much younger than him. The man named Phill. After her mother got married, Bella felt her presence disturbed her mother's relationship with her new husband. Then Bella decides to stay with her father in Fork, Washington, United States.

Actually, Bella is hesitant to leave for her loving, unstable and silly mother. But Bella thinks now her husband will take care of her life. He deliberately lied for his mother's happiness.
